Upcoming Giveaway - Easter-Style!

"Here come's Peter Cottontail, hoppin' down the bunny trail. Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on it's way.."

Ok, I know I'm a total sucker for holidays; call me materialistic, if you please. I love decorating and getting into a festive spirit, and having a holiday right around the corner always brings it even more out of me! However, all of you can not see the innards of my house, or my head, so the only way to show you how FESTIVE I can really be is by having another fun giveaway!

Did you like the St. Patrick's Day "Follow the Rainbows" challenge? I know I did, and it got me to thinking to have another one, just this time Easter influenced. And I wanted to include some of my pals from Etsy Maine Team to join in on the fun. Seventeen Etsy Maineteamers (Mallory and myself included) volunteered to participate in this fun challenge, and some even donated great prizes for you to win! PRIZES?! You should TOTALLY be IN!

I don't want to leak out too many of the details of this fun challenge before it comes out, but I can guarantee it will definitely be worth the wait. On April 3rd, all will be revealed, and the fun will begin!

What's New Wednesday - Rained Out

Who would have known that Italy was so RAINY! Yesterday we were having a beautiful sunshine-y day, with a high of 64, but today it's dark, gloomy, and dreary. Boo.

Unfortunately, because of the weather issue, I wasn't able to do my photo shoot today. It was going to be great, the theme was "My Secret Garden", and all the girls were going to dance around in the grass and the slowly blooming flowers. Mallory suggested we do the photo shoot inside, but I didn't think of it too late, so wasn't able to get my hands on some pretty flowers and make a fun background. Oh well.

Rain, rain, go away....

But on that note, here's a picture of the kids checking out the coastline in Sperlonga, Italy, and suprise it was a chilly, rainy day too.

Keep checking back the next few days, because I'm going to figure out a way to get some pictures done and some new listings up in the shop!

For now, Ciao Bellas!

Monday Meet-Ups

I'm on a mission to start blogging more frequently, so why not jump onto the bandwagon with the Etsy Homefront Team and join in on their Monday Meet-Ups!

A "Monday Meet-Up" is when it's the 2nd or 4th Monday of the month, questions are posted on the Homefront Team Blog for anyone to answer! :)

This weeks questions were asked by Sarah from Florida Scarf on Etsy:

1. What song is your personal anthem? If you don't have an anthem a favorite song will do. MY ANSWER - "No Rain" by Blind Melon is definitely my personal anthem. I could totally see myself rocking that Bee Outfit the little girl is dancing around in...it's not sane. :)
2. What is your favorite ride at an amusement park?
MY ANSWER - Anything that is death-defying with crazy corkscrews and loop-da-loops! If when I get off the roller coaster I don't feel like I'm going to hurl, than it wasn't worth it!
3. What was your favorite restaurant at any of your past/present duty stations?
MY ANSWER - How hard is this to answer, when we are currently stationed in Italy? So far, the best food I've had has got to be at this little restuarant in Gaeta, which I can't recall the name. All I know is I fell in love with gnochhi...
4. Where is your favorite place to go for supplies?
MY ANSWER - any craft store will suffice, but currently since I'm overseas it's been limited to online ordering. I will admit I have found myself to be resourceful and utilized the local stores (including the Panaroma and Brico) to do some of my bidding. But I totally miss being able to wander through the aisles of Jo-Ann's, AC Moore's, and Michael's pretty often.

What's New Wednesday - Going Green

I know it is REALLY easy to think that the reason I chose this week's new items are because it is March and St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. But that's not why I chose it, well not mainly anyway. I like the green because I'm eagerly waiting for spring to bless us with it's warmth and blooms; the green reminds me of fresh grass unearthing itself under the dreary cold!
So without further ado, this week's new item of the week is:
These may not be the EXACT outfits presented to be sold in the shop, but I will definitely have shirts and jeans just like these offered soon. Both the shirts and the jeans were made using Liberty Jane Patterns - uber cute, super stylish, and perfect fit!

Addison is so ready to be a part of our modeling team, so we promise there will be many fun outfits just for her and the rest of the BFC Ink bunch in the very near future. I'm really digging the posability of her, and this picture of her is a great one, I think.

Anyway, catch these and other great fashions at Camelot's Treasures. And check back next week for another great new item!

What's New Wednesday - Nap Time for Bitty Baby

As some of you may know (at least those of you who follow us on Facebook and Twitter), Tyler, our boy Bitty Baby Twin, went MIA last week. We searched high and low for him, but he was nowhere to be found. I have a sneaky suspicion that he was visiting his twin sister, Tiffany, who lives in the Kentucky with grandma; but we don't really know. That's why I skipped a week of "What's New Wednesday" last week.

However, this morning, upon getting some socks unearthed from the pile of toys on Theron's floor, Tyler appeared, peeking out from under the bed. After welcoming him home, we immediately started figuring out how we were going to do a photo shoot today, in between spurts of rain.

So I present to you this week's new item is...drum roll please.....Bitty Baby Sleepers!

So far three are done and ready to be sold in the shop, however these are sewing up quick, and I'm excited to put in a bunch more. All of these rompers will fit both the Bitty Baby and the Bitty Baby Twins (even though I only have them pictured on the Twins). And they are super easy to put on for little kids, too....3 year old tested!

So check out on these fun new sleepers at Camelot's Treasures and be sure to check back for next week's "What's New Wedneday" item!

Ciao!
